The cuvée: The Veuve Clicquot Brut exemplifies the character of the vineyards and the continuity of Veuve Clicquot style. Strongly marked by the Pinot Noir, this wine is characterized by an excellent structure, a typical stylistic feature of the wines of this house. The Chardonnay gives it its elegance and finesse, necessary for a perfect balance; the small addition of Pinot Meunier completes the composition. Brut Carte Jaune is a wine of the very highest quality, with a large proportion (80%) of Grands and Premiers Crus. About 50 to 60 different crus go into the composition, as well as 25% - 35%, sometimes even up to 40% wines from other vintages (vins de réserve). These reserve wines, the oldest of which are up to 9 years old, are stored separately, so that the characteristics of the sites and harvest years are preserved. Thus, each year again the typical Veuve Clicquot style can be maintained.

Tasting profile: The Veuve Clicquot Brut impresses with its beautiful, golden yellow shiny color. It is powerful and pleasant on the nose, where it initially reveals fruity nuances (white fruit and baked fruit), which then gradually give way to vanilla and yeasty notes. This creates a perfect harmony between the natural aromatic nuances of the grape varieties (fruit aromas) and the nuances that develop during bottle aging (pastry notes). The brash, dynamic attack in the mouth gradually gives way to a fruity harmony. This champagne undoubtedly belongs to the category of well-structured bruts with a confident wine character. In addition, it impresses with its remarkable finish, in which fruity and spicy components balance each other.
