Description
The group "Happiness and Time" by Johann Joachim Kaendler from 1766 shows Chronos. The man on the rock represents time. Opposite the goddess Fortuna balances on the blue planet. As symbols of the prosperity of science, painting and sculpture depicted under the Saxon coat of arms, a putto holds up green shoots. Time bears a sign depicting the Albrechtsburg Meissen, Germany's oldest castle and the manufactory's first production site. Above the group hovers Fama, the goddess of fame in honour of the state of Saxony. Limited to 10 pieces.
