Carrera y Carrera is a Spanish jewelery company. Their origin is back in 1885, when Saturio Esteban Carrera opened a small jewelery workshop in the Barrio de las Letras. The company has several subsidiaries around the world including in New York City, Tokyo, Moscow and the United Arab Emirates.

The history of Carrera y Carrera began in 1885, when Saturio Estaban Carrera moved from Alcalà de Henares to Madrid and opened a small jewelery shop in the Barrio de las Letras. His son, José Esteban Carrera, continued his jewelery tradition in Madrid after completing his lapidary studies in Paris in 1920, which was passed on by his four nephews, José, Saturio, Pedro and Andrés. In the 1970s, Saturios great-grandchildren Manuel Carrera and Juan José Carrera created the brand; the company has since several owners.

In 1960 the company was commissioned to make the wedding tiara of Queen Fabiola of Belgium for her royal wedding with King Baudouin of Belgium; This was the origin of the world brand, which was regarded as a prestigious and exclusive brand. In 1979 Carrera y Carrera expanded to the USA, 1994 to Russia

and opened its first boutique in 2013 in China. In 1989 Queen Sofía of Spain sponsored the presentation of the sculpture piece "The Arc of the Discovery of the Fifth Century" in the Royal Palace of Madrid, which was later exhibited in the City Hall of Madrid.

In 2000, Miriam of Hungary, Princess of Turnovo, joined the design team. Between 2002 and 2006, Lladró took control of the company and ensured more growth of the company.

Many models such as Eugenia Silva, Almudena Fernández and Alejandra Alonso were the face of the jewelry house. The jewelry can often be seen celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Demi Moore, Lady GaGa, Olivia Wilde, Olivia Palermo and Christina Hendricks.

The company Carrera y Carrera has won many awards and designs medals and prizes for recognized competitions. In 2000, Manuel Carrera received a medal from the Russian Academy of Arts. The Spanish Academy of Film Arts and Sciences awards a Carrera y Carrera ring during their Goya award ceremony for their Maja de los Goya awards. The National Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Science of the Russian Federation also awarded the Golden Eagle Award (Russia), which was designed by Carrera y Carrera.
