If you thought, you were too old to buy dolls, think again and look at the incredible collection of exclusive Dolls produced by the fashion couture house Lanvin, the Parisian Fashion Empire known for adventurous high-end luxury.

Not many may know that the legendary haute couture designer and Lanvin founder Jeanne Lanvin created her first dolls as the apprentice to a milliner. Much later, as an established fashion designer, she sold her dolls displayed in the windows, sometimes giving them as gifts to her customers’ daughters.

More than 10 year ago, Lanvin designers adorned the Lanvin Faubourg Saint-Honoré store window with miniature mannequins and then took it a step further to create six Miss Lanvin porcelain hand painted dolls. It was a hark back to Jeanne Lanvin's partaking in the post-war Theâtre de la Mode show which saw French couturiers showcasing their designs through miniature dolls, due to the lack of fabric. Prominent craftsman Franz, specialized in hand-decorated porcelains, also lent his skills at decorating porcelain to produce the detailed outfits on the dolls

Continuing this precious legacy, later on, the Lanvin creative teams designed the first models of what would become an authentic tradition.

Today, the brand continues her legacy with Miss Lanvin Dolls.  Each Miss Lanvin dolls is a collector’s item, packaged in Lanvin's signature pale blue boxes.

The Miss Lanvin dolls are produced in a limited edition of only 800 sets each season and of course, they are sold out immediately and become very collectable. The core values of the French fashion house are perpetuated through its doll collections and are highly valued and well-recognized all over the world.
