Today we interview the CEO, Mr. Stadelmann, of cosmetics company Valmont, which is already more than 30 years launching the luxury cosmetics products.

Mr. Stadelmann, I would like to thank you for your time for the interview and for the great partnership with BREGNER Luxury & Lifestyle. As I have already mentioned, Valmont company‘s history is more than 30 years. Could you please tell us the idea of the foundation?

Valmont was initially a clinic for skin regenerating treatments, In 1985 Valmont beauty products were launched as a separate entity to focus on cosmetic cellular findings.

How can you describe the target group for your products?

Our products target major skin conditions focusing on the four most frequent causes of skin ageing (Cellular Vitality, Hydration, Winkles and Radiance). I would not say we have a target group for our customers as our line is transversal. For reference our latest major launch with hydration is a perfect example as it afflects everyone (male or female) from there early 20’s.

Do you launch the products only for women or you have the line for men?

We do not have a specific line for men, our products are unisex.

Could you please tell us about the Prestige Spa Club? Do you have the special requirement to become a member of the club or does it work as a usual hotel and I can book the days on the official websites of your partner-hotels?

Initiated as a tribute to the 35 summits of the Alps whose height overpass 4000 meters, Valmont Group’s president created the “Spa de Prestige” Club by Valmont to gather the elite Spa’s around the world. As genuine laboratories of the brand, these Spa’s deliver the excellence in skin knowledge for tailor made anti-aging comprehensive programs.

We solely initiate this collaboration with 5* hotel Spa’s working exclusively with Valmont Skin Care in their facial programs, granting these flagships territorial exclusivity, and benefiting extraordinary marketing support, and art events.

Which new technologies do you use in the production?

For Valmont, the quality of the raw ingredients and their extraction methods are of the utmost importance.

Among many technics, we use:

Maceration, which is one of the oldest yet efficient extraction processes.

Cryoexpression, which uses the structure of the plant itself, to obtain the purest plant extract, that offers the best potency.

Supercritical CO2, that serves to deliver an extract of utmost purity. These extraction of constituents at low temperature, which strictly avoids damage from heat and some organic solvents. We don´t need to residue solvents and these extraction procedure is very friendly for the environment.

Cold Extraction, which is used for the emblematic Valmont DNA.

Lipophilic Extraction, which allows us non-oily molecules to become oily. It´s a high-technology process in which no chemicals are involved and we receive super pure plant extracts which are Ecocert!

How can you describe the luxury cosmetics? Are there any special requirements?

More than just a product, luxury cosmetics need to pay strong focus on the promise with immediate results and the quality of the textures, without forgetting the comfort on the skin.

This constant level of attention in synergy with a selection for the most premium distribution worldwide, providing a strong technical knowledge and expertise of the beauty advisors are the key of Valmont’s success since 30 years.

Could you tell us about La Maison Valmont Tokyo? Are you planning on the same project in Europe?

Actually, Tokyo is just the third “Maison Valmont” worldwide, with the first one launched in Berlin on Fasanenstrasse in Charlottenburg, closely followed by Hong-Kong.

The general concept is to provide the most luxurious service for Valmont group’s brands with Valmont as a technical skincare, l’Elixir des Glaciers, the master piece of anti-aging and finally the finest fragrances with Il Profvmo.

Art also is an important part of the project, displaying selected artists gathered by the Valmont Foundation.
