In 2020 Rosenthal Versace is proud to present some new collections and new designed pieces to the existing classical collections.

Heritage Turandot

Inspired by Giacomo Puccini's opera of the same name, the Turandot décor is a homage to 18th century chinoiseries, which already played an important role in Rosenthal's designs of the late 19th century. A lavish roundel of peony blossoms, bamboo and ginkgo leaves in delicate colours meets golden dragonflies. The source of inspiration for the poetic porcelain paintings lies on the shore of the West Lake in Hangzhou, China, and is shown in the interweaving of western and eastern elements

Midas

The playful, baroque Rosenthal shape Sanssouci forms the stage for the Midas decor, which is monochromatic in gold. Patterns with distinctive twigs and leaves are laid on top of each other in layers, shimmering between matt and glossy surfaces and creating an extremely sensual interplay when they meet the porcelain relief. The three-dimensional camouflage décor is named after the mythological king Midas, whom Dionysus had fulfilled a wish: everything he touched turned to gold.

Jungle

With its new gift collection, Rosenthal meets Versace brings the cult Jungle Print back on stage and celebrates the pattern that Versace showed on the catwalk at the Spring/Summer Fashion Show 2020. All pieces of the limited collection are decorated with a gold-coloured border, a medusa and an elaborate barocco pattern.

Asia Vanity

It is the most famous motive and an original draft by the legendary Gianni Versace. What is already successful in fashion and the area of home colletion, is transferred to precious porcelain. The new series "Vanity” from the design "Ikarus” is a must-have for all lovers of the typical Versace opulence. The décor is brought to live with the typical baroque color combination of dark blue and gold tones on a set and also on exclusive gift accessories like vases and dishes. It reminds of precious inlays on baroque laceur furniture. A titanium candleholder completes the assortment and underlines the series’ typical Versace character.

Kaleidoscope bowls

Crafted from high-quality porcelain, requiring a high-degree of precision and hand-craftsmanship, the decorative bowls are adorned with 36 intricate three-dimensional Medusa reliefs that exemplify the brand’s excellence in porcelain design and manufacturing. A statement piece in any interior, the limited-edition line is available in monochrome white and gold or as a white iteration embellished by a single gold accent. Limited edition of 49 each.
