The history of the manufactory Furstenberg dates back to the 18th century. Duke Carl: I founded this legendary porcelain manufactory in 1747 in Furstenberg. In the German-speaking world, it was the second manufactory, which still successfully produces fine porcelain objects. The porcelain manufacture Furstenberg was the first to burn precious porcelain from the components quartz, feldspar and kaolin in several series. The distinctive feature is the blue "F", which has been commissioned by the Duke since 1753, still adorns the precious porcelain of Furstenberg. Elegant and playful designs of the handles form the characteristics of the first and unique form "AI.T Furstenberg" in the rococo style, which appeared on the market and is still manufactured according to tradition by Furstenberg. The manufactory has always been highly esteemed and was rewarded with the fascinating design ideas of porcelain lovers.

The fabulous designs of Furstenberg also include the "Herzog Ferdinand" vases with their typical cylindrical-oval shape and square handles in the classical style. The table culture objects developed by Jouis Victor Gerverot in the form of "Empire" are a complete contrast. Classic-antique, flowing and curved forms are created like a fairy-tale poetry of human hand in perfect craftsmanship. At the end of the 18th century, Furstenberg was the only manufacturer to offer products for sale in Berlin alongside KPM. The diverse collection objects from porcelain from Furstenberg fascinated the people's minds that time, and in 1888 the manufactory was transformed into a stock company. With each new series of valued articles, the demand for the artful Furstenberg porcelain rose. As a result, an own external painting was opened in Dresden at the beginning of the 20th century. The collections of Furstenberg are always timely, they have undergone extreme upheavals design and actual functionality. This is one of the reasons for the big success of the manufactory. In the 1950s Furstenberg benefited from a very high demand. This has strengthened traditional craftsmanship, which has proved itself again and again for two centuries. In the year 2000, Furstenberg won the invitation to the official EXPO.

Since 2005, Furstenberg has been working closely with the all the winners.
