Description
The "Fishermen with Net" shows the moment of the return home of a young fisherman, which the Dresden artist Hermann Hultzsch captured with a porcelain sculpture in 1885. With moderate movement instead of lively emotion, she has impressionistic features. The body contours and folds of the cape are almost picturesquely modelled. Their play with light and shadow is cleverly underlined by the artistic colour gradients of the glaze. With the net thrown over his shoulder, the young man looks at his successful catch. For a moment the fisherman seems to stop on his way home. Limited to 25 pieces.
