The figure "Birth of Venus" was created around 1900 by Friedrich Offermann, who lived as a sought-after sculptor in Dresden. Erotic, only slightly covered by a cloth and with water lilies in her hair, the goddess of love stretches her way to heaven. She gracefully bends one leg, her arms raised to her head, and coquettishly sticks a blossom into her curls. At her feet hovers her son and helper, the naked little Cupid. With her lively pose, the long waving hair and the rich folds of her scarf, the sculpture places the highest demands on the modellers' art.
