THE NEW LA PIAZZA COLLECTION
Bathed in golden sunlight, architectural miracles line the Piazza della Signoria in Florence. A sweet smell of cappuccino is in the air, occasionally there is melodious laughter in the midst of the hustle and bustle – this fantastic scenery combined with various impressions on the senses forms a whole, reflected in the unique atmosphere of piazzas in Italy. This picturesque scenery inspired the Italian jewelry manufacture Al Coro to the fine jewelry of the La Piazza collection resulting in a unity of a harmonious encounter of materials and creative elements. La Piazza combines convex and fluid shapes with sparkling high carats. Voluminous designs with feminine elegance are in the focus of this collection.
The bangles and necklaces attract all the attention with their luxurious brilliants that softly find themselves in a bed of gold as if by magic. The fine pavé trimming as well as the shimmering nuances unleash a play of contrasts wrapping itself around the gleaming rose gold. THE NEW GOCCIA COLLECTION
Surrounded by impressive cliffs, the coast of Capri rises up. The sea breeze is whispering of the approaching late summer rain: Countless drops are on their way from the sky, dripping along the body, and hugging neck and wrists. This fascinating spectacle of nature inspired the Italian jewelry manufacture Al Coro to its new “Goccia” collection.
“Goccia” means “the drop” in Italian, and accompanies the collection of the same name with its unique characteristic shape. Studded with sparkling white and brown brilliants, these characteristic drops are found in necklaces, earrings and rings, and give the new line a feminine gracility.
With “Goccia”, the Italian company with great tradition explores new avenues of its design and jewelry artistry. The fine shapes of these precious items elegantly wrap around the wrist, neck and finger of their wearer, and seem to flow on on the body. Sparkling brilliants top off the fine gold bands made of white and rose gold, and immortalize the fine play of shapes at first rate. These exclusively coordinated ensembles consist of necklace, bracelet and earrings as well as rings; they convince in rose and white gold, and as fashion-conscious creation of softly merging bicolor.
LIMITED BLACK MOON EDITION
20 years of success and excitement with Mezzaluna – that has to be celebrated! To add a crown to this festive occasion, Al Coro presented the Limited Black Moon Edition at this year’s Baselworld. It celebrates the Mezzaluna design and sets a monument to it in the form of a set of flawless diamonds. Each individual piece of jewellery is also made of 18ct or 750 white gold and is provided with a black Rotanium alloy. In keeping with the anniversary, the precious edition is limited to 20 pieces.
Mezzaluna – the name of the collection is program. The word comes from Italian and means “half moon”. This means not only the shape of the rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets inspired by the celestial body of the series, but also the feeling that fills the hearts when the gaze can no longer detach itself from the perfect crescent moon on a starry night: the mixture of overwhelming, romantic, unique and unforgettable.
