Wein Termanthia 2015 0,75L

Termanthia is an extremely complex and elegant wine. The nose reveals a sophisticated palette of rich and varied aromas: fresh raspberries, blackberries, blackcurrants highlight the violet and rose petal notes. In addition, black pepper and toasted almond notes make themselves felt, evolving into aromas of sweet spices such as vanilla and cardamom.On the palate, an elegant and velvety impression emerges, perfectly balanced by solid and silky tannins, leading to great structure and weight. Red and black berry, cocoa and floral notes fill the mouth and end in a long and complex finish, highlighted by spicy and toasted nuances and a fine minerality.

Alcohol content: 14.5%

Vineyard: Only the best grapes from a vineyard of just 4.78 hectares with 120 year old vines are used for this wine. The hand-picked yields are an extremely low 2,000 to 3,000 kilos per hectare.

Vinification: Only hand-picked and again carefully hand-selected grapes are used for the Termanthia. The grapes undergo a five-day cold maceration and are then fermented for 10 days in French oak barrels. During fermentation, pigeage (foot punching down) is done twice a day. The wine is then aged for several months in French oak barriques.

Note: Let the wine breathe for at least one hour before enjoying and serve at 16 - 18 degrees.
