Description
The wood expression brings character, warmth and has a wonderful silage. Typical wood notes are sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver, rosewood and guaiac wood. Ormonde Jayne added hemlock to our palate, which is used in our signature scents, Ormonde Woman and Ormonde Man. Like other oils, a wood facet in a perfume can be soft and balsamic or animalistic. Extraction method: Steam distillation is most common. The wood is chopped into small pieces or even grated, the oils become suspended in the steam.
