WhistlePig 12 Year Old Rye combines American rye whiskey and old world wine barrels. An experiment that gives this distinctive rye whiskey its complexity.
Born from the idea that a whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, the finish uses a trio of different barrels - Port, Sauternes and Madeira - that enrich the rye with their distinctive flavors. Similar to the parts of a symphony, each of these distinctive characters come together in a blend.
